Italian certificates
Italian certificates, obtained at the source
Most Italian citizenship cases stand or fall on records held by a comune, an Italian town hall. These records live only in the town where the event happened, and the office usually wants someone there in person. That is exactly what we do: a member of our team, carrying your signed authorization, files the request and collects the original.
👶
Birth certificates
The certificato di nascita confirms name, date, and place of birth. For most family-line cases, this is the single most important document you will need.
- We locate the competent town hall, even from a town name in family stories
- We file the request in person with your signed authorization
- We obtain the original paper certificate, the only version that can be apostilled
- We arrange the apostille and, where needed, a sworn translation
- We ship the finished document to you by courier
💍
Marriage certificates
The certificato di matrimonio links one generation to the next, so consulates and courts read it closely.
- We identify the town where the marriage was recorded and request it there
- We obtain the original in person, with no waiting in line on your part
- We can request the fuller extract version when your case calls for it
- We arrange apostille, legalization, and sworn translation as needed
- We ship worldwide by courier
🕊️
Death certificates
The certificato di morte closes out a generation in the family line, and like the birth record it never expires.
- We request it from the town hall where the death was registered
- We obtain the original document in person, with your authorization
- We arrange apostille or legalization for use abroad
- We add a sworn translation when your application requires one
- We ship the document to you by courier
🏠
Residence certificates
The certificato di residenza confirms where a person lived. Cases involving relatives who stayed in Italy, or Italians registered abroad through AIRE, often turn on it.
- Residence certificates from any town hall in Italy
- AIRE residence certificates for Italians registered abroad
- Related records such as stato di famiglia and citizenship certificates
- Apostille, legalization, and sworn translation for use abroad
- Worldwide courier shipping

Extracts and full copies
Italy issues records in three levels of detail, and picking the right one decides cases. We know which format your application needs and obtain it.
- Extracts of birth, including the version showing paternity and maternity
- Extracts of marriage and extracts of death
- Multilingual international extracts under the Vienna Convention, accepted with no legalization
- Full certified copies from the civil status registers
- Apostille, sworn translation, and courier for every document

Certificates for applications
Citizenship by marriage or by residency also needs records from outside Italy, each one apostilled and sworn-translated. We manage the entire chain.
- Birth certificates from your country of origin, obtained at the source
- FBI and state criminal record certificates, with fingerprint support for US applicants
- Apostille or consular legalization in the issuing country
- Sworn translation into Italian, so the package is ready to file
- One managed process that cuts delays, formal errors, and rejection risk
Certificate, extract, or full copy? It matters.
A certificato states the basic fact. An estratto adds the margin annotations, such as later marriages, name corrections, or citizenship notes, and those annotations often decide a case. A copia integrale is a certified copy of the original register entry itself. There is also a multilingual international extract, accepted across many countries with no legalization at all. We pick the format your consulate, court, or town hall will actually accept.
